Welcome to TESDA YP4SC e-Career Profiling !

You are about to make a career decision -- taking a course, applying for college, interviewing for a job, accepting a new job, etc. It is just one of the many career decisions that you will make throughout your working life.

TESDA will help you make the best career decisions possible. Through the e-Profiling of the Youth Profiling for Starring Careers (YP4SC), you will be able to identify your work-related interests, your work values, and your abilities so you can explore the occupations that fit you best.

To guide you in your career decisions, you will have to undergo an assessment using the following instruments:

1. The Ability Profiler
2. The Interest Profiler

The Interest Profiler
This instrument is a self-assessment career exploration tool that can help you discover the type of work activities and occupations that you would like and find exciting. You can identify and learn about your broad interest areas and use the assessment results to explore the world of work.

The Interest Profiler measures the following six types of occupational interests:
• Realistic
• Investigative
• Artistic
• Social
• Enterprising
• Conventional
It will take you approximately 30 minutes to complete this assessment.

The Ability Profiler
This instrument is another career exploration tool that will help you plan your work life. You can use the Ability Profiler results to:
• identify your strengths and areas for which you might
want to receive more training and education
• identify occupations that fit your strengths

The Ability Profiler measures the following six job-relevant abilities:
• Verbal Ability
• Arithmetic Reasoning
• Computation
• Spatial Ability
• Form Perception
• Clerical Perception

It will take you approximately 60 minutes to complete this assessment.

Things To Do:

1. Register new account in YP4SC
2. Browse the YP website and read the content
3. Be ready for the assessment exam
4. Take the exam
5. Print the result
6. Submit to Ms. Joy Briones, BRAFENHS Head
